Kitchen Garden

Who doesn't like growing a kitchen garden around the house. We all love to pick our own herbs, veggies, fruits or even edible flowers. Below we talk about some do's and don'ts for your own cultivar.

Tips for Success!

Below tips are from our own experiences and tryouts.

Soil

Making sure you have an easy experience, We at PlantScape setup your food plants in a free draining soil. Combinations of Soil, Cocohusk, Perlite, Charcoal & Compost ensures that your plants have plenty of room and give you abundant harvests. Size of containers do matter, as not all plants like to be transplanted.

Light

All food producing plants need plenty of sunlight. Make sure you keep your plants in full sun or semi-shade as per their requirement. Food cannot grow indoors. Its always better to research, before we sow the seeds.

Fertilizing

Using fertilisers is a good practice to keep the plants growing. However, first we should get the watering correct. Only when the water is moving through the plant, we can feed the plant. If the plant is not growing it won't take up nutrients. And Yes! We only do organic gardening.
